I had the opportunity to finally sit down with San Clemente longboard shredder Elijah Gillis to see what he’s been up to these days.
BM: Where are you from?
EG: San Clemente, California

BM: How old are you?
EG: 17 yrs of age

BM: How long have you been surfing?
EG: Since i was about 10.

BM: What got you in to longboarding?
EG: I dont really know, i started out shortboarding and just kind of switched to longboarding for some reason.

BM: You got a girl friend or boy friend hey man im not judging?
EG: Both

BM: Who are you riding for these days?
EG: Alter surfboards, I havent had a bad board yet from scotty, i think there magical.

BM: If you didn’t surf what would do?
EG: I honestly dont know, prally take up roller blading or something extreme like that.

BM: Describe your perfect contest circuit?
EG: I think it would be rad if all the contests had a noseriding division and a regular division where you can ride a hp or a logger, because noseriding is what really separates longboarding from shortboarding.

BM: Any weird diets, eating habits?
EG: Not really, my favorite thing to eat is acai bowls.

BM: You a nose picker?
EG: Of course.

BM: If some one were to say something bad about you what would they say?
EG: Im almost as much of a tool as Scotty Alter…

BM: If some one were to say something good about you what would they say?
EG: They would most likely compliment me on my really neat scrapbooks.

BM: If you could live anywhere in the world where would you live and why?
EG: Somewhere in Australia because I have only heard good things about it.
