BM: Where are you from?
CW: Oceanside, CA
BM:How old are you?
CW: 30 yrs old
BM: How long have you been surfing?
CW: First started surfing young bout 7 or 8 off and on surfed in middle skool surf team and all the time in high skool and college surf teams i was soo hooked.
BM: What got you in to longboarding?
CW: My dad was a longboarder but there was always something kool about long boarding i always wave watch with longboard eyes i think it was noseriding that totally captivated me, the style grace and poise plus the culture of longboard has such a history it was me and i was it…the smooth slide.
BM: You got a girl friend or boy friend hey man im not judging?
CW: No girlfriend at the moment, i feel bad like i should have one but I’ve been so busy plus good girls don’t grow on trees. anyone lookin for a sushi chef/artist/surfer let me know dinners on me.
BM: Who are you riding for these days?
CW: I don’t have any sponsors….I ride Takayama boards, hand me down wetsuits from Mitch at capt. helm, d.a.v. clothes, gremmie skateboards is maybe the closet thing to a sponsor.
BM: If you didn’t surf what would do?
CW: I think about that a lot actually what would life be like if i didn’t surf, i probably would be an even better artist but unhappy, i could see myself a history teacher specializing in military history, maybe an actor but i don’t want to wade thru all the bullshit, if i didn’t surf i would like to think i would find the need to and discover it.
BM: Describe your perfect contest circuit?
CW: 1 to 2 ft blown out south side of the pier.
BM: Any weird diets, eating habits?
CW: Just a nose rider.
BM: If some one were to say something bad about you what would they say?
CW: Still playing with army men.

BM: If you could live anywhere in the world where would you live and why?
CW: I wish i could live here in so cali but in the 50′s.
BM: Favorite youtube/vimeo clips?
CW: My friend pandora just showed me this dog that pees for like 40 seconds while doing a handstand.

CW: Roxy Music, Ennio Moricone, Rachmoninov, Trojan records (most recordings), Pogues
BM: Tell me what you would like to see in the future for longboarding?
CW: Same refinement of style and technique, i think that’s what makes it so cool its a throwback sport as it is and translated in so many ways by different people. Noseriding today gets better, and better. I like to see whats always been their but unique. Bullfighter style on water.
